Yay teaching!
So, we did our teaching gig and it went SUPER WELL!!! It was awesome! We thought it would be weird because the school is in the ghetto of Hartford and we’re white so we’re definitely the minority there.
We got to our class and they had a sub today so it was already sort of hectic, but they knew we were coming and they were really friendly and excited! I think we had about ten kids in...

I'm nervous about teaching, so I have to poop.
First time student teaching today.
At the University of Hartford Science and Engineering High School.
Because kids who applied and were accepted to a solely science-geared high school probably want to spend the last hour of their snowy Friday learning creative writing.
Just had my first (two!) legitimate rat bites.
I could hear chewing from the closet, so Billy got up twice to see where it was coming from and he couldn’t find a rat.

I got up at noon and finished an assignment for class later. I was supposed to work today but my shift got cancelled, yay!
Now I’m going to shower and go eat, go to class at 3:30, and then write a lesson plan with Billy because tomorrow is our first day of student teaching! I’m so nervous for that, I could vomit. I’m not excited at all.
